Nope, in your situation there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Who cares what people think? However, age difference does become a big deal when you're 45 and seeing a 13 year old. If that's not you, then don't worry about it.

Go for it! There's nothing wrong in dating a younger man. It's no one's business how old he is or how old you are for that matter. There are plenty of successful relationships where the woman is 5-10 years older. Here's a tip: the people who give you funny looks are just jealous and wish they were in your shoes....good luck!

I think the only time I take age in consideration is when the parties are under the age of 18. After the people are adults, then I think that age is only a number.

Today age difference is not a big deal. It is all about maturity level. So what if your a little older than he is. Maybe he likes mature women. Girl you are lucky to have a man that is younger than you! Who cares what other people think, all that matters is what you think!

Forty-five years old is fine to be seeing a thirty-seven year old age difference becomes a conflict when you are ten years older or more than the other person.

Sister: 8 years are not a big deal if he has the level of maturity and cultural identity to match yours. Don't assume that simply because he is silent often that he is mature. Take your time and good luck.
Mr. M on "big deal."

I dont see why an older woman shouldnt date a younger man if she wants to.After all its been scientifically proven that a woman reaches her sexual peack well after the male does .So if the attractions is there have fun seeing if he can keep up with your appetite,go for it!

Not at all sweet-heart!
If you both are sure what you are sharing is true love I'll say Go for it!
What matters most is how you both feel for each other
and don't let others dictate who you should be with.
I wish you both all the happiness possible on this Earth.
