Thats great some of your gave alot of help and too others and too the others when he gave me the ring he told me it was a promise to be faithful, I did not break or make any promises i keep my promises thats why i was trying to help my bestfriend who is a girl so we could get back home together and my b/f just wanted to get me home,,, he also asked for all the other stuff he gave me back .. but i dont think its fair at all because i told him not to buy me anything in fact i hate it when guys spend money on me! and i have treated him to dinner, movies, gas money etc. So i think its very unfair to ask for his stuff that he gave me as a gift back

It is totally up to u. I personally couldnt wear the ring again if we weren't together but the law is this...........even if it was an engagement ring he gave u, if "he" breaks it off then the ring is a gift, but if u break it off then u have to give the ring back. So do u have to give it back.........NO. And by the way any guy that makes u choose between him and anyone isnt someone I would choose to be with ring or no ring. Good Luck

If he is going to take it back over a silly drunken fight then hell yea give it back. Plus, he was asking you to choose btwn him and a friend. that is f'd up. Let him know that once that ring leaves your finger it will NEVER go back on, or any other ring from him. Once you give it back you have to stand your ground and not get back together. If you are not ready to do that then stay with the loser and keep being miserable.

a promise of what? a promise of marriage? a promise you would stay in a relationship? Did you break the promise? A promise is a contract, (oral). If the contract was broken, then yes, give him back his ring. If you did not break the promise, then keep it.

Nope a gift is a gift.....why didn't you want your boy friend to take care of you. Nobody should make you pick sides, ever. You have only one life and you should live it the best way that you know. Good Day OH the next ring size it up to a bigger diamond I know I did, like they say moving on up.....

Yes, no but's about it.
You broke the trust between you two,
so now at least be honest and return
the ring that does not belong to you anymore.
Drunk and with another friend (man) - no excuse!

You know what, if he wants it that bad, let him take his stupid ring. You do not want anyone as controlling as that in your life, He is doing you a favor. It is better to know now, then later, Thank God, you did not invest so many years in a relationship, that you will have no say so! Be strong, you will be alright!

Give it back to him. He sounds pretty level headed and he'll be able to find someone who doesn't get drunk and act immaturely.
