It's probably not worth risking any botulism or such that might have begun to develop. I hate throwing away food, but when I think about what I might spend in medical bills or just the time I might be stuck in the bathroom being sick, it's not worth it to me.

If the cans are not dented or leaking, it is safe to eat. The dates on the cans are a date to eat before to achieve the best quality. Over time, some of the nutrients are lost but the food is not harmful unless the cans are damaged or leaking.

I've eatten foods a lot older then that many times! Thats not even a year old. You just have to be smart about it. Now that you have found them either eat them quickly, feed to the dog or throw away.

YES, everything goes bad at some point and if it says Nov. 2005 then its time to throw it away before you get sick and that wouldn't be good. :(

yes, they ferment in the can and not only go bad but some could be unsafe to eat ( poisonous)
