I believe Angels are supposed to exist in Judaism, Islam and Christianity. How about other religions like Buddhism, Hindusiam, Jainism, Voodoo, Sikhism, African religions, Celtic religions, and other religions etc. Do they have Angels too - how is the discrepancy accounted for? Also some religions are not Monotheistic - how is that accounted for across other religions? thanks.

I know Voodoo, Celtic and Wicca don't have angels. Not sure about the others.

These religions are polytheistic (I know mine, Wicca believes in the god and goddess). It's not account for in other religions. Most often, other religions (like Christianity) simply say everyone else is wrong and they're right.

Here is what I know from my own experience. Believe me if you wish. I am not religious, but very spiritual. I have seen and experienced many things of this nature. Therefore, I do not take to any dogma of any sect of any type of religion.

Bash Christianity all you may....and in its modern form, deserves a lot of the criticism it receives, angels are for real.

You do not have to be Christian to know this. You can be any religion you wish, angels are real. I have seen them and been contacted by them. Again, believe me if you wish. But I am telling you, I am telling the truth, not being a speaker or propagandist of any religion...as I am not a religious person!

It is a beautiful thing. I appreciate everytime they come into my life. Even moreso since they know I am NOT religious, yet do not hold that against me, but still enter my life freely because I am open-minded and willingly to accept what may be.

They are everything that you have heard...and probably more.

Well monotheism is the eprfection and evolution of religion, as it gives people a fixed point of universal justice (as in belief at least, and as a result inner peace to all that belief). While in reall life we d have to deal with un fair deals that favour those who made them and who where in a position of power to do so.
So it was good, in that way.
And for that other reason some other religions and especially undeveloped ones did nto take those into account. Their belief was more simplictic and so their belief did not fair better in the evolutionary world. That is thge difference between religion and Say Cult, more offerings, more bases more promises, better arranged.
Still as we have heard so much about out religions we are fed up with it and listen to other ones now and get an interest on them.

Vodou is a monotheistic religion. We believe in honoring our ancestors, serving the lwa (elevated spirits), and worshiping Bondye (God).

Angels and saints to me are simply spirits. They were made so by God to be the intermediaries between Him and humans. God is too distant to deal with our everyday issues.

Angels are the same as lwa. The lwa are also intermediaries. They were made so by God to help us. We are born with a met tet. This is the lwa that chose to walk with you through your life. They are ones that will work the hardest and fastest for you.

However the relationships with the lwa go both ways. We serve the lwa and the lwa serve us. This is not the same as worship. The lwa need us to remember them. If we do not remember them they will no longer exist. So if the lwa want to be remembered then they work for us and we give then there favorite items as a thank you.

There is way more to the religion than this. Check this website. I personally know this Mambo and have worked with her: http://www.sosyetedumarche.com/Vodou_Info/vodou_info.html
