This is a secret that the supermarkets want to keep hidden from the consumers - that makes them BILLIONS of dollars.

Each time I buy some fruit or vegetables from the supermarket, they are weighed in a plastic bag.

This means that each time the supermarket gets extra money for the weight of the plastic bag.

Since I found out about this SCAM I have refused to buy any fruit and vegetables from my local supermarket. In protest I am eating frozen pizzas.

Let us join together to defeat big business for the little guy.

Is there anyone else out there who has had enough and wants to join this CONSUMER BLOCKADE?

I'm in. I have discovered in recent years that I can live off frozen pizzas, top ramen, and beer indefinitely.

We will out last them brother, or die trying,

I would join in and i am. When i go to the store i will recomend they remove it from the bag first. The bag weighs very little but i bet a case of those things are heavy so they are getting money from the bags by weight.OK we need to weigh a case of bags and times the lbs by the price they get from say like bannanas. WOW thats like 50 cents a lb.Thats really not that much but i see your point and will stick with you on this

1) The bag weighs so little you can't even weigh it.
2) No profit even if you could as the bag costs the supermarket money.
3) This is more a statement of (a stupid) opinion, rather than a question.

i never use a plastic bag unless i am getting a lot of something. a cucumber, a couple of onions, or a head of garlic, i weigh them on their own. besides, the grocery has to pay for the plastic bags, so why should you get them for free. besides, they're destroying the environment!
