Foods that come from an animal source generally won't have carbohydrates. Instead, these are sources of protein.

The websites for Atkins or South Beach should have some good, easy-to-understand information, and I know Atkins has a list of foods that show Carb ratings (or they did a while ago)

ok well there are very few founds that do not contain carbohydrates, apples, and all sweets, are the same as eating carbs, as a carbohydrate such as rice, pasta, bread, is converted into sugars once it enters your absorptive system in the stomach, so if you do not want to eat carbs, carbs are in: pasta, rice, noodles, potatoes, bread, porridge, then you have the sugary foods, like apples, oranges, grapes, if you want to reduce and eat no carbs, then you really have to stick to protein, so like fish, meats, and vegetables are likely to be low carbohydrate in content,
hope this helps, if you are dieting I can give you some ideas, as have just lost a stone in 3 months, so can finally fit back into my old jeans
wooo hoooo.......

Nuts do have carbs and so do pork rinds and also hamburgers!. Chicken breast doesnt. Look on the Atkins site though-it will give you proper nutritional information rather than some peoples well meant "guesswork" on here!

your diet is supposed to consist of around 65% carbohydrate so the low carb diet is not healthy however if you look on your food labels under carbohydrates it should say "of which sugars" its this bit what you need to be looking at and trying to keep low. your body will use carbs as energy and store the extra sugars as fat until it is or isnt used

DO NOT go on a low carb diet. it's unhealthy, hard to maintain and weight loss is temporary you put more weight on.
