Each of my kids have an original first name and then two family names for middle names. One from my side of the family and one from my husbands side and then their last name. So they each have their own identity and names that link them to their family on both sides. I think it works well!

Personally I think more than 2 names is too much. Maybe the first name, middle name and a hyphened last name using both family's names but that's it. It makes it very hard for the child when they are of school age and have to learn their name. Of course kids usually don't go buy all of those names but it is a requirement that they learn how to spell their entire name. That is definitely something to think about when naming a child.

Thats a little Much but a few names isnt bad. my son has two middle names cause his father and I couldnt agree on names just remeber that you may have more than one child you dont want to use all your names up on the first kid

I like using tradition, but can you imagine the poor kids first day of kindergarten? Trying to write all that out would be interesting.

That is just crazy poor kid. How would they fit that on a birth paper or what would they write for the heading of their paper in school.

i think it's too much. i would stick with a first name, one or two middle names, and a last name or two.

I like it. It is refreshing to see people sticking with tradition. It will make her feel special and connected to her family!
