Jazz was a combination of African-American AND Western (globally) music so there wasn't any stealing there. It was a blend. So was Elvis's music...a blend. Why can't you blend in with the others? Do you have an ethnicity or male ego problem?

That is how music develops. Each one takes what they like from another style and adds it to their own, and what do you know? A new style comes along. We don't like music to stay the same all the time, do we? In your case, since you have not made any records yourself, this is probably a racism question.
