I prefer Xavier. Actually i'm due January 15th with a boy and we are going to name him Nicholas Xavier. I like the sound of the "X". Javier is pronounced with an H.
I've always like the name Xavier ever since Cabbage Patch Kids. Remember Xavier Roberts signature was on each of their little butts? :)

I personally like Xavier better just because there is not a lot of people that there name starts with a "X", but there is quit a bunch of people thats name starts with a "J".

i love Xavier, that's my French cousin's name but he pronounces it ZA-V-yeh ...well i tried to show how he pronounces in letters. hope you get the point. i think it's a very sexy name for a guy.
just wanted to comment on one of the other comments:
Xavier is not hard to pronounce because it is common enough that most people have heard of it like on X-Men haha...
it is a sexy and handsome name for a guy

Xavier, but pronounved Zaa-vie-air, not hav-e-air. I think Javier is trashy sounding.

I like Xavier better because there is a very good singer in Germany and his name is Xavier too. He is one of the best singer in Germany and he is very jung. He just got famous with "Du bist wie ein segen". Download and listen to this song. You will like it.

Sorry but my Brothers name is Javier and he is a asshole!!! So I don't like his name or him and he also references his name to Xavier to his Caucasian friends to mask his Hispanic heritage from them as if hes embarrassed....so for me I dont like either name...but it doesnt mean it couldnt be good for you!!
