Ask her, and if she says no tell her you still want to be her friend. Nothing bad comes of trying. If you just let it sit there you could be missing out on something big. Good luck!

Well, my friend asked me out. I told him no, and it didn't wreck our relationship. I doubt it would have if we started dating. If you feel that your frieindship is strong, go for it.
