The Bible itself says that children will not be punished for the parents' sins (Deuteronomy 24:16). Furthermore, if God really created Adam not knowing either good or evil (Genesis 3:22), how could such a harsh and enduring punishment as death for Adam and all his descendants (Romans 5:12) possibly be just? Our secular courts are more just than God when they show mercy on people who cannot distinguish between right and wrong, such as children and the mentally handicapped.

Servant of God, understand that the passage is saying that Adam, through his actions, released sin into the world and THEREFORE made it possible for all of us to sin and all of us to die. If he hadn't sinned, we would all still be perfect like he was initially created. Without his original sin tainting the rest of human existence and predisposing our nature to sin, we wouldn't be the way we are now.

Ever hear of Pandora's Box? He's the one who opened it, metaphorically speaking of course. We are born flawed and doomed to death because of Adam and the ABILITY to sin that he let loose on all of us.

Now that you understand, please refer back to the question and the details.

handsome, let me put it really simply... if Adam hadn't sin, none of us would sin. Adam did sin, therefore we're all capable of sin. It was God's decision to make it so. God didn't have to hang the ability to sin on the actions of one man but he did. God then allowed the punishment for sin (death) to befall us all after Adam opened the floodgates. It was God's decision to make it so. Why?

There's not any justice in it. There's not a jury or judge in the country that would inflict a punishment like that.

It is more a matter of fact that we came from Adam who was in a state of falleness/sin-fullness with God. We came out of a sinful father and are also sinful. But even if we were not charged with Adam's sin we sin our self which is unacceptable with God. All it takes is one sin to keep us from God's hole presence and all of us have more sins then we can count. It is true that there are people who sin worse than others but still all of us sin and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3;23. Just like trying to swim to Hawaii, some will swim further than others but all will eventually fail.

Romans 5:12
"Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned—"

God is not punishing us for Adam's sin but is punishing us for our sins ("...and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned..."). Adam may not have known what was right and wrong but he knew what God said about what not to do and to do. God's command is enough.

You are right! Where is the Justice that we all should suffer because of Adams mistake? The answer is within your hand if you only thought of him who was born without sin and died on your behalf so that you may live and not die because of the sin of Adam. The Justice behind our suffering for taking the sins of Adam is totally absored and taken away from all people who were born from Adam and was totally carried away by Christ himself. Is it justice that your sins and the sins of the world be taken away and inflicted on Christ who was without sin and was a perfect man. Therefore you are without excuse and you cannot blame Adam for your sins. Every man's sin was carried on the cross of Calvary? Is there justice in having him take away all your sins and by his own will accepted to remove your sins which you inherited from Adam. All men's sin were lifted on Christ's cross thus becoming himself a sacrifice of sin for all men. Justify this act that came from the very God himself, and you will find yourself justifying God for permitting the sin of Adam be inherited and his corrupted body and nature be ours as we receive it from our great Father Adam.

given that it is a silly myth, and that you have found one of the many fatal flaws in the bible and the flawed logic attributed to a god, don't you think its about time to stop worrying about the silly myth, and move on to something more intelligent?

changing the wording of the scriptures to prove your point, is just another way that the bible has been misinterpreted.
you prove nothing by changing the wording to fit you needs or arguments.
