Diet. Exercise. I suppose this will constitute most of the answers on this page, but that is the best way to do it. At your age, it's probably a bit early to start popping the big gun weight loss pills, but talk to your parents about it. May not be a bad idea. If they say no, then it's off to the treadmill. Try walking a mile. If you can do that, start walking it faster. When you're comfortable walking a mile with no trouble, step it up to a light jog. At your age, you should be able to get a good 10 minute mile, but at your current weight, that's going to be a major stretch. Baby steps.
As for dieting, eating less is a good start. Less fats and calories.
EDIT: Also, if your only goal is losing weight, don't go to the weight room. That will only increase your weight (muscle weighs more than fat).

The biggest solution is to realize what the problem is..
Do you have a thyroid problem?
Do you detest exercise or is it just lack of..
Do you eat healthy or just what ever gets their quickest (take out).
If you are not metabolically challenged, then it's your routine.
Try walking more, even if it's in your house.
Cut back on your food intake and drink lots of water (this helps with the full sensation as well as being good for you)
Try eating better foods, I know that's a long shot, but, if you can't help yourself then try smaller portions.
And get some support from your family and friends, tell them what u are trying to do and ask for their support, not criticism.
You have taken the first step just by asking for advice....good for you and good luck, I will be cheering for you....

I would advise you to see a doctor. She or he can help you safely lose weight and rule out health problems as the cause of your weight gain. A good thing to do is to ... keep a food journal. That is a great way to identify your eating habits and enable your doctor to make recommendations on where you can adjust your intake/habits. Make sure to include how much you ate, when you ate, and how hungry were you at the time. Even if it was a bite of something write it down! :D
Are you getting enough exercise? If not, your doctor can assess your current health condition to determine which exercises are appropriate for you. Make sure your to visit your doctor so they can monitor your progress.

You should probably watch what you eat. The other thing I'ld suggest if your only 14 is to join some sport. Many people will tell you to go and work out but I know that takes a lot of motivation. If you join some kiind of sport you'll be more motivated and you'll have a lot of fun. Just get up and do something. Good luck

Diet, exercise, and avoiding all junk food including fast food restaurants. Difficult?? Yes, but it will work, and you will lose weight. The problem is you are headed for serious health problems if you don't act soon. Take it from an over weight , professional, lifelong dieter.

Get rid of the junk food and the soda! You can still eat a lot, but just change what you're eating. Activity will help too, but the diet is more of a concern for you.

Put down the fork!
Your parent(s) should be taking much more responsibility in your health.
You wont be doing yourself any favours by being obese before your completely developed.
Go see a dietitian and see a PT instructior.
