If I'm getting this right, then I disagree. Things are as they are. No matter what you believe in. If there is no god, no matter how hard you believe, all you can do is convince yourself of a lie. And also, if there IS a god, no matter how much you believe there isn't will not make the trick.

Yes, I agree strongly that Believing will make everything so. It says in the Holy Bible if you have the faith the size of a mustard seed you can tell a mountain to go from here to there.

Whoever thinks the Bible says that hasn't read their Bible correctly.
In other words I definitely disagree. This belief is having faith in faith instead of faith in God. When Jesus said 'if you believe' - He meant believing in a sovereign God - believing what God said He would do.
Even from the psychological self-help point of view it doesn't work. Because according to that you are not called on to believe in the intensity of your belief, but to have a realistic belief in yourself. Let's say I decide if I believe hard enough, I can fly - no matter how hard I believe, I will not fly! not from the Biblical perspective, and not from the psychological self-help perspective.
From the Biblical or Christian perspective, it won't work, because God never said I would fly, so I am not believing in Him when I believe I will fly, just in a desire of my own.
From the psychological self-help perspective it doesn't work either, because I wasn't made to be able to fly - it is not a human characteristic. so believing in myself to the point that I can fly is a false belief.
So, from whatever point of view, 'Believing will make it so' is a lot of baloney. Sorry.

Believe there is no such thing as gravity and take a stroll off the Empire State Building.

Belief without evidence is a dangerous thing.

Strongly disagree. Believing that the moon is made of cheese does not mean that the moon is made of cheese.
