I can't express the cause as well as I can express the feeling. Joy is feeling the presence of God. Grief, fear and pain is what I feel when I am not feeling His presence.
I pray every day, and I remember in the worst moments that God is always with me.

My joy is in learning many facts and then coming to the realization of the unifying principle.
Ignorance causes me the most grief. It literally causes me physical pain in my heart to see someone so completely consumed by something that they cannot even discuss it, let alone learn. The idea of a closed mind tears at my heart to the point I've gone to bed in tears at the ignorance someone had shown the day before.

I’ll narrow it down to the past couple of weeks.
The most grief was talking with a young man with physical disabilities since birth, whose parents tried to beat him into being straight when they found out he was gay. The absolute cruelly these parents inflicted on their own son because he wasn’t like them simply broke my heart.
The joy was the loving moments spent with family and in fellowship with Christ.

Sunsets, rainbows. But mostly laughter with my family and/or friends. This makes me feel elated, and I usually thank GOD for my life. THE most grief, thinking about losing people I love, and having to exist without them. This makes my heart feel as tho it is touching the ground.
And also with you.:o]

To bring a smile on a poor's face, a child's face, an orphan's face, anyone's face and most grief is to see children abused, poverty while investing lots in time wasting and money wasting space programs and enriching the church... also to see grown up children, however grown up you are you are still children to your parents, flush their parents in homes for oldies... refuse to take their responsibilities while those people raised them up... that's sad. Homes for the old is a shame on human beings. One of the greatest shame. It is heartbreaking.
