I really like this guy and we talked all the time and hang out as much as we can, with him playing travel soccer and me cheering and playing soccer. I refuse to make the first move though, and I think he thinks he can't because im going to hoemcoming with his best friend, but strictly as just friends. How can I get him to make the first move.

If you are going with his best friend, as a friend, then you can let him know that you like the guy. He can help put him on the right path.

Would have, could have, should have, .. you snooze you lose. You might feel pretty bad to find out later that you could have had a chance to know him better if you were just honest and open about it.

Well, hmmm, if you are going to the homecoming as strictly friends... Is your friend going strictly as friends with his date?

You might ask a couple of your girlfriends to go as a group and do the Multidate thing. I forgot what they call it. Basically, you plan like 3 activities for the number of dates... Example, 3 girls, you do dinner, dance, and movie... That way you experienced time with each date.

However, say you invite 1 other girl and your guy... You all meet at the Homecoming dance... Afterwards you go for pizza/movie...

You and your girlffiend SWITCH dates after the dance when you are going to pizza/movie... That way YOU are with the guy you want to be, your date might find someone that he wants to be more than friends with... This way you find out in an innocent way AND you didn't make the first move...

NOW, he may be more inclined since you have a "date" already and he can say, "Yeah, she is a lot of fun... Better than staying at home with the TV... "

Then if you don't like it as you thought... You do need to have your original date take you home, unless the guys say, "Hey, I want to take her home, do you mind?" In which case, you might even get a little good night kiss in anticipation for the next date.

Try it and see if it works out. My best to you. Otherwise, this palooka may never get up the nerve to ask you.

for one you going to homecoming with his friend doesn't seem like your interested in him most high school guys wont make a move unless they know for sure that your interested most GUYS in general are afraid of rejection. . . i don't think your going to get much out of him unless you tell him you like him and see what he says write a note that's what I've always have done.
