I suspect the US might nuke Pyongyang and all suspected Korean nuclear sites. The US would then invade the north. Certainly the US would not allow the North Korean state to survive after an act like that.

NK is probably not going to do something like that.

I think they want to be respected and taken seriously.

Most launches of this type would be intercepted. In and of itself the attack will do nothing. The trouble will be the fallout. Who will be caught in between and how will they react.

A third World War is not so far fetched.

Remember the last one started because of one aristocrat being assassinated. This is not easy or fun.

I personally feel Bush may be out of his league here and have to learn from his past and defer to the world leadership before cracking the rhetoric whip.

G-d help us we are in a war to avenge his family and pride while people are starving and employment is reaching Mikey D's level of income. Taxes are soring as well as incomes are plummeting. We will be in a different world after these greedy ... get finished.

NK might end up ruling what is left of the world.

We could all be gone before Global-warming has a chance to kill us off.
A sorry end for us all.

N Korea would no longer exist. Some of your answers are laughable, how could a person believe N. Korea, or anyone could have a nuke so powerful it could take out the entire USA. The largest nukes ever blasted were around 50 Megatons, this would take out most of Los Angeles, but that’s all.

That would never happen, it would risk total annihilation of the N.K. If they wanted to attack us they'd simply give a bomb to al'Qaeda. al'Qaeda would then smuggle it in through Mexico using the same networks as other illegal aliens, assemble at any of the U.S. cities which have declared themselves "safe havens" for illegals, then take it via public transportation to whatever city they wanted to nuke. Do you think that the kind of people who would die to blow up a restaurant would hesitate to die to blow up Washington DC? The U.S. has no defense of any kind in place to prevent such a scenario, so why would anyone waste a missile that could be both intercepted and identified as to point of origin?

We activate anti-missle system up in Alaska, launch 50 nukes, back, drop Nepalm on them, find where Kim Jong whatever the hell his name is, and send Chuck Norris there.

Unconditional surrender like the Japanese aboard the USS Missouri. Immediate withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan and payment of reparations to Iraqis and Afganis. America accepts repatriation of Palestianians from Israel to Indian Reservations and sends an equivalent number of 700 Club believers.

the dumbest thing to do would be to nuke them back kuz then a nuclear war would occur until we are all dead. the smart thing to do would be to not fire any weapons of any kind at them and let the UN descide what happens next. their leader has mental proplems anyway.
