Triumph- It began a new way of getting food. Before McDonald's, you would either have to make home cooked meals that are time consuming or go to sit down restaurants and wait for a considerable amount of time. They brought the whole wave of fast food...quick easy...cheap food. I also like to think it was due to fast food that it allowed more stay at home moms to become working mothers. They didn't have to stay at home and cook meals that took hours to prepare....although that is just my opinion.
Tragedy- It is restaurants like McDonald's and fast food in general that has brought obesity to America. With over sized food, the cheap and ease of getting it...we have learned how to be lazy and tend to be a malnourished society that don't take the time to sit down with families and enjoy dinner time with one another. So it has affected our health and our personal lives.

I submit to in concepts those costs...they are from the john Stossel interview, properly suited? i think of he's totally sane. What, in basic terms by way of fact he adheres to the form, he's insane? i comprehend that's not an effortless element to be a constitutionalist in right this moment's present day society, regrettably, whether that's American as American gets. "is it not genuine that everyone it takes for evil to triumph is for stable adult men to do not something" genuine, yet what we've finished is obviously the incorrect element. how are you able to argue that's not? Ron Paul additionally pronounced the factor that we've ousted Saddam, yet on the comparable time have borrowed $10's of billions from China to furnish Musharraf; a militia dictator who overthrew an elected government. ....is that an act you think of is sane?

The triumph is that they were able to become so sucessful selling such average fare.
The tragedy is, that even though it sells well, it's still incredibly average food.
(Mc.D's hints : a) if you order fries with no salt, they will have to cook them fresh. b) if you order a big-mac with fresh onions, you'll get one made fresh, instead of a stale one from under the heat lamp.)
