I am going to the Eastern Caribbean next year, and have never been on a Conquest class ship before. I have been told that you can never go back to a smaller ship after this. Is this true?

No it's not true. It absolutely depends on the ship, the type of cruise and the geographic location.

I personally love ships in the 50,000 - 70,000 ton category where there are 1500 to 1900 passengers. I have also been on the new Freedom of the Seas - the biggest ship ever built at 148,000 tons. It's just too big! The Glory is 110,000 tons and carries almost 3000 passengers.

Earlier this year I went to the Galapagos on the Celebrity Xpedition - like a private yacht - its less than 3000 tons, and only accommodates 90 guests. It was the best cruise we ever took!

My advice is to find an itinerary and life style that appeals to you, call a travel agent, and enjoy.

If you are interested to celebrate your vacations, in the Caribbean Islands, in a very special way, then you should certainly go for a Carnival Glory Cruise. It is a cruise that gives luxury cruising altogether a new meaning.

Carnival Glory Cruise Liner:

The Carnival Glory Cruise Liner is one of the largest passenger vessels ever constructed. The ship is 952 feet long and travels at a speed of 21 knots. The ship can accommodate 2,974 passengers. The ship has 13 decks. The Sun Deck has a room for the children called the Children's World, whereas the Spa Deck houses the Nautica Spa and the gymnasium. The Atlantic Deck has the Amber Palace lounge and also the computer center called Cyberspace . The rooms are highly spacious and have wall-to-wall carpeting. The furniture is very good and the furnishings grand.

Carnival Glory Cruise Amenities :

The passengers are provided with all sorts of facilities to make your journey a comfortable one. The rooms are equipped with color television sets and they also have telephones. The closets in the rooms are highly spacious and have ample drawers. The rooms have private bathrooms with showers. The ship has four pools and seven whirlpools where you can relax in a lazy afternoon. The dining options are splendid. Try out some of the most authentic dishes in the Red Sail Restaurant or in the Platinum Dining Room . If you want to hold a business meeting, then there are arrangements for that too. The Grand Lounge in the perfect place to hold conferences

Carnival Glory Cruise Activities:

The guests can be sure that they will never get bored when they are embarking on a Carnival Glory Cruise. The ship has a casino called the Camel Club Casino , where they can play poker or play a game card in the Card Room. The Black & White Library has a good collection of books and you can enjoy a quiet afternoon over there. Listen to the piano in the Cinn-A-Bar or dance to some rocking music in the White Heat Dance Club . You can go for shopping in the duty free shops or work out in the gym. Children can take a wild ride on the 214-foot waterslide. Golf lovers can practice golf on the ship.

Carnival Glory Cruise Voyages :

The Carnival Glory travels to the Caribbean Islands . The major places that one gets to visit are Port Canaveral, Nassau, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Belize, Cozumel, Costa Maya and Freeport . You can go for scuba diving, snorkeling or simply walk on the beaches over here. Sight seeing is a good option also. You can go for some shore excursion like the Kennedy Space Center Excursion .

Definitely...you will not want to travel in a smaller ship after travelling in carnival glory cruise... :-)

I have been on the Carnival Glory, I went on it when it first came out. I did not like the Carnival Glory, it was a very confusing ship to get around. It is a very pretty ship and I suggest you go to the fine dining restaurant that they charge additional for and get the creme burlee it is to die for. You will have fun but I bet by the time you get off the ship you will still be confused of how to get from here to there. I have been on several other carnival ships and never had a problem, miracle , legend , and the paradise. I have to say cruising is the way to go to get the most from your vacation dollar. I hope you enjoy your cruise.
