How would you translate the concept of a "drawing" in Spanish?

I'm not talking about "dibujo", like drawing a picture. I'm talking about a contest where people put in their names and then one name is chosen to receive the prize. How would you render this in Spanish?

I would say it's "sorteo"

The word you are looking for is a "drawing" like in the lottery, right?
In that case the Spanish equivalent is SORTEO.

you can say either SORTEO or RIFA
