I:
- Shower well (scrub, use nice smelling soap, etc.)
- Use anitperspirant (Mitchum)
_ Where clothes, luandered every day.
- Use body spray

Problem is, when i get on the train in the morning, people plug there nose, step away from me, this makes me feel very sad. I am extremely clean, use the best deoderants, but a odor i dont smell follows me. I do not eat much meat, but do eat fruits, and veggies. In school, those sitting next to me, will cover there nose when i do not look (i do realise this ;0) This has been destroying my life, being that i am in highschool, things can get judgemental. I am very paranoid now, this odor i cant smell taking my thoughts away from study. I sometimes cry thinking it will never go away. I am a guy, super clean, my will to get rid of the odor is very big. I can go to a doctor because, can onyl go with parents, no longer talk to them. Please comment seriously, i do not know what to do. Helpful advice such as pills, diets will be great.PLZ!

Perspiration in it's severe form is also known in the medical field as hyperhydrosis. Perspiration is the body's natural method of cooling itself and is regulated by the sympathetic nervous system. Sweat evaporates over the skin's surface and heat transfer occurs. The result is cooling. However, when one's sympathetic nervous system becomes overactive, excessive perspiration or hyperhydrosis results and sweating can occur for no reason at all. In this case, the hyperhydrosis can be labeled primary. Secondary hyperhydrosis may be the result of diabetes, obesity, antidepressants, diet, anxiety or other physical or mental disorders.

Sometimes BO just happens no matter how clean you try to be. I have heard several testimonies from people with this problem.

I have managed a health food store and have heard all kinds of problems.

I would suggest using a soap that will help kill the microorganisms that cause BO. The one I have heard testimonies on and have used myself for foot odor has oil from the melaluca plant in it. It is also called TEA TREE OIL. This is a very good all round product.

The smell won't be the most pleasant when you first open the package, but it will not linger on your body either. There is also a deodorant with tea tree oil in it.

These would be available from a health food store, or if you know anyone that uses Melaluca brand products they may be able to help you get some.

This would be the least expensive way to approach this problem. Doctors etc. would be extremely expensive.

I noticed someone else mentioned the use of heavily odored products ... I agree. I do not like the perfumed soaps and deodorants on the market. They can be overpowering.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions that I may be able to help with.

This is a particularly difficult situation and I am sorry for all your pain and constant suffering. :( The one thing you can do is find this topical anti-perspirant. It's not in a stick or spray. It's a creme. It rubs into your skin.

Also, always carry around a tiny bottle of lotion and constantly wear that. Typically stay VERY CLEAR of strong musks or smells, but find something light and clean (Japanese blossom at Bed, Bath & Beyond is good). Make sure it's not going to choke the people on the train, but that when you walk by the breeze you leave behind you is this light, clean scent. Again, it's topical so it's on your skin.

And, ofcourse, even though you completely do this already per your post, change the underwear, once, twice, however many times a day it takes. You can find scented pantyliners.

There is no cure, and I'm sorry about that. :( You have to accept that you are one of a number of people who just have to take more action on a more requent basis. GOOD LUCK!

Maybe its not you, maybe its your clothes, use fabric softener, and do not let clothes sit around damp. Always dry fully and hang up in a closet or put them in a dresser. Could it be your shoes? maybe a foot fungus? Is it possible that you don't smell at all and the people at school are harassing you? I would ask people I know and trust to help you figure out the truth. I would even ask a stranger if I smelled funny to them. That may elicit some wierd looks, but try asking an older woman- they are usually more sympathetic.. make up a story to go along with why you are asking - if you feel you need to, tell her you are trying to impress a girl and then ask "do I smell alright?" Hope that works out for ya!

I saw something like this on ABC news. It was a special about a woman who smelled like "dead fish" even though she took extreme care in trying to prevent the odor (even spraying Fabreze over her whole self. She never smelled it, but everyone else did. She had it since she was young and is a teacher too which sucked.

After 30 years though, she found out she had a disease called
TrimethylaMinuria. I suggest you read up on it because it sounds like you have the same issue.

"In these people, a faulty enzyme causes the buildup of a chemical called TMA, which smells like dead fish.

"It's a volatile chemical. It will come out through the lungs. It'll get into your sweat, your spit and other body secretions. So that's how it imparts its odor to the individual who has this disorder," Preti said.

Just about every food available can lead to the buildup of TMA: eggs, meats, beans, milk, cheese, bread and fish."

**Perhaps you should stay away from those foods ^^^^^^^^^^^^.
And get tested.

It's quite interesting.
Here, read the story here :

And here is more information about TMAU:

Hope this helped! :)

change your deodorant to:
Degree or Sure
Mitchum isn't a good deodorant it wears off quickly
stop the body spray : the body spray mixes with the morning air and makes u smell like donkey who got it's butt kicked by a longhorn steer, u basically smell like B'DUSSY-..
for laundry detergent keep using your regular soap
for bath soap: ZEST, DIAL , LEVER2000
also try and use other body washes stay away from Axe that stuff stanks
Diet:
try and stay away from garlics different type of onions, certain type of sea foods
change shampoos
and if that don't work with in a two week period and people are still acting like they smell sulfur , try and see your doctor . Because i know that certain types of food can linger in your skin cells and ventilate out of your pores and just smell. i know certain cultures foods have strong seasonings and permeate out to people around them and it smells like musty onions. So try and change your:
1. diet
2.bath soap & shower gel
3.shampoo & conditioner
4.deordorant
5.aftershave
Stay away from :
1.AXE sprays & deordorant
2.Mitchum deordorant
3.Garlics , seasonings , vegetables , seafoods ,etc. ( try and avoid these types of foods if u can)

Are you cooking your food with a lot of garlic? If not, then you may have a health problem. A person who bathes daily, uses antiperspirant and wears clean clothes shouldn't smell bad enough to be offensive, especially first thing in the morning.

If you have access to an ayurvedic physician or nutritionist, give them a try. Or see a regular physician to make sure you're not ill. Good luck!

If it's your armpits, try neosporin. What usually causes the smell in your armpits is bacteria.

Neosporin kills bacteria. Squeeze it out of the tube and apply it with your fingers into your armpits.

Do this every day for awhile, and your smell ought to go down.

I wouldn't use neosporin *every day* for the rest of your life, but it should be quite safe to use for a period of weeks, even.

Good luck.

Go to the doctors and ask for help, usually an odor like that is a sign of an infection or bactiria. Do you have sulfer smelling water? That could be your problem too.
~Best of luck to you~

try using adidas sport deoderant and try to shave your armpits..its kind of feminine especially for a guy but hair makes you get bo faster and im pretty sure its smellier...
if that doesnt work you really need to talk to your parents or ask one of your friends parents to take you to the doctor
