Just tell him he's a great friend, and you like him just not in that way. Tell him that friends is as far as it's going to get. Be honest and tell him how you feel. He'll understand. Good luck!

He just wants to get in your pants. Tell him you agree to go to the dance with him, but ONLY as friends...if he's expecting more, he should ask someone else who he may get "lucky" with. All you have to say is you're not interested in him in that way...
