How long do you want to store it?
Best kept in a dark cool place, if you intend keeping it for a long time, e.g. more than a year, lie it on its side to keep the cork moist.
If you are going to drink it in the next couple of months, e.g. over Christmas, and you don't have a cool dark place then it won't harm to be kept in the fridge.

On its side in a cool, dark, dry place, preferably at an angle so the cork stays moist...not the fridge until you're ready to drink it. Once in the fridge, no longer than 2 months.

On it's side in a cool dark place. Not the fridge until before you
