If your saying that belief in God doesn't stand up to the slightest scrutiny I disagree with you completely. God gave us the choice of either believing or not believing in Him, but like every choice in life we make there are good and bad consequence to those choices.

It stands up to emotional scrutiny, but that is a one-for-one scrutiny.

It does not stand up to any group scruity or to science.

And I've read "The Case for Christ." It was so full of errors and false assumptions that it was one of the worst things I've ever read.

Why are you so obsessed with this?

Because you WANT someone to give you an answer that will prove to you there is a God. You know it in your heart already. You are just running from him.
