How long is a woman supposed to wait for sex with a new boyfriend?

It's whatever YOU feel comfortable with. Some guys I waited 3 months to have sex with them. With others, I waited 3 hours and a whole range inbetween.

A person is on their best behavior for about 90 days. After 6 months, things that they have tried to keep hidden slip out if they exist and they try to make excuses for them.

I told my daughters they should wait at least that long before becoming intimate with someone. They should also do it because they want to, not because of worry about the guy will find someone else, or may lose interest. I told them if a guy couldn't wait at least that long, he probably wouldn't be a good long term person.

If you (and he) don't have any moral misgivings about fornication, it really doesn't matter. Beyond that, it simply depends if you want a relationship based on sex, socializing, or a long-term, monogomous commitment.

Additionally, you both should be prepared and ready to accept the potential consequences of a sexual relationship. i.e. parenthood (even when on birth control) and the possibility of contracting STD's.

One more thing, women tend to bond with men they have sex with up to and including falling in love. While you're "making love" he's just "having sex." It doesn't naturally increase a male's bonding or falling in love with a woman. That's something you need to keep in mind when you start having sex.

I know that might sound wacky but honestly, sex makes children and they can happen even if your using birthcontrol. For sure it is a very pleasurable bonding experience but do you know how many aborted children there are these days!

Sex is a big responsibility that can lead to even greater responsbility, not just a step in a relationship. You might end up making another life that your relationship with this man will greatly effect. Enter in to sex passionately for sure, but most of all wisely.

I personally feel like people should wait till marriage. Because then the relationship isnt going to be based on sex. However, I also feel like a woman will know when the time is right. And when you do decide that the time is right make it special for both of you.
