in case you've forgotten, you're the parent here. When you tell her to be home at ten, and she comes home at eleven, take away one of her priviliges, whatever that may be. Car keys, dating time, tv time, whatever. You have to put your foot down and let her know that you're the parent, and until she's eighteen, you're in control. Consider this a warning that if she's already rebelling, you coming down harder on her is only going to make her rebel more. But you've got to earn her respect, and you've got to do what you say you'll do. Don't threaten to ground her and then not do it. good luck to you.

Set the limits - your the parent and if she still won't listen she doesn't get to go out. Have your husband (if there is one in the picture) meet the young man at the door letting him know in a forceful matter what time he expects the young gentleman to bring his daughter back home!!

If you are the parent, you should be setting the rules and your teenager should be abiding by them. Why have you let it become a trend? Give her a time; be reasonable but insistent. If she can't make it home in time, ground her.

Did you set down a rule of time when she started dating? If she can't be considerate of the rules next time she has a date tell her "No". YOU are the parent, just because she's a teen doesn't mean your job has ended.

Tell her and her date the one thing they don't want you to do find them and bring them home yourself and they keep this crap up and you will do that. If they were smart, they won't piss you off again and they never know what you're going to do, do they now? Ask them now what part of being home at a certain time do they not understand?
