When I opened up the link, it kinda freaked me out at first. Then I really got into the picture...it's so sweet! And the hand was so precious...its small and tiny! It's to die for!!

I wonder if the religious right would be against pro-choice if more people of color, (rather than white middle class women) were having abortions. Or is it a purely woman in the kitchen thing?
And yes it is precious, and I'am glad the mother cares enough for that child to go through that surgery to save it.
Is better to know when life has meaning and not quibble over its beginning.

As a matter of act I did see the pic. back when the surgery was preformed. It is a miracle and it is an awesome picture. It is amazing what God has given us humans, the power to change the outcome of a little life and let it be worth living. If we could just get everyone to have a little faith we could change a lot.
PS
I am not a religious person in the conventional sense but I believe in the higher power and his ability to help us create miracles!

That is actually pretty amazing/cute. I doubt it will change that many minds one way or the other, though. Those who are still pro-choice will argue it happened by accident; since the baby's hand is curled anyway, it may simply have caught on his finger while he was around it, rather than a conscious attempt by the baby to grab the hand (and that may actually be what happened, who knows).

But as for the picture itself, it is rather heartwarming if you are willing to allow yourself to believe the kid was grabbing for the hand (which I do personally believe the kid was).

By the gods, you do realize that's AFTER the allowable termination date? Those pictures don't phase me. The mothers life MUST come first because the mother already has an established existance. The fetus only has a POTENTIAL for life.

Oh I just can't believe I actually saw that!!!!! Oh, there just are not any words to describe it except to say precious! Wouldn't it be neat to be the doctor! I bookmarked it and am going to pass the picture around to everybody I know!

Yes, I have seen it and I found it very profound. They have proven that a baby hears loud sounds, sucks it's thumb and feels pain. I don't understand how people call that a fetus and not a baby.

It's so cute! But, as you see by the answers posted on here, there are still selfish, ignorant people that don't believe abortion is murder.
