I personally believe biblical 'prophecy' was simply created for faith-building. You can clearly see in Revelation that John is trying to comfort the early Christians who are destined for the lion's arena.

Read the last two chapters of Daniel the fighting between the two kings of the north and the south. It describes exactly what has happened in our life time.
It was North Korea, North viet nam, against the south.
But the last part may suprise you. The actual down fall will come from North Africa. Wonder what that could be?
Read Matthew 24:21 where it says all flesh would die. That could only be a nuclear weapon. Would North Korea sell this nuclear weapon to some Islamic terriorists in Africa?
That is what the bible says, will come against the land of decoration. Across the grand sea?Daniel 11:40-to the 12th is the end. Daniel 11:44 But there will be reports that will disturb him, out of the sunrising [asia] and out of the north.and he will certainly go forth in a great rage in order to annihilate and to devote many to destruction. and he will plant his palatial tents betwen the grand sea and the holy mountain of Decoration. {USA} and he will have to come all the way to his end and there will be no helper for him." What do you think the USA would do if they even did a limited nuclear attack? That would triger the end of the world as we know it.

Gosh... I think a human being could observe human nature and study the history of the human being and say hey there's lots of war and crime and famine,
and then write a book and predict future war and crime,
and say God told me.

but to predict who starts the war and the outcome needs a holy God. to predict the rise and fall of certain nations takes a Holy God. just the dream in Danial chapter 2 tells of 4 up coming earthly kingdoms, then that of the Rock not cut by human hand is the Coming of Jesus.to predicate that Babylon will never be rebuilt even though Saddam was trying to twice takes a holy God. to tell of people with a great turning of the way of Truth takes a holy God. to be able to tell of nations that will be total destroyed and not rise again takes a holy God.the fact of Israel and Egypt still being here takes a holy God. then you have Danial and John describing weapons that could not be imagined in the ancient world and needing comfort of angels because of the mass destruction they bring. can only happen by a holy God.

i've got faith that a notion to deliver warfare crimes costs must be ratified via the UN protection council. america of a is on the protection council and has a veto, which they're going to use to dam any action against Israel, so no longer something will come of it.

Possibly. This is also addressed in Scripture (the cosmos).
Jesus could be considered self-fulfilling prophecy, if it weren't for outside sources. But if you're talking about Revelation, I reckon you'll just have to take a "wait-and-see" approach, huh?

No, no need for god to predict. It is just history repeating itself.

When someone says "God told me to" when they are in custody that's like saying "Rap inspired me to kill" or "Rock inspired me to burn the house"
