I think Atheists live an authentic life.

Maybe Christians are in denial??? Since only 35% of the world population is Christian and according to them 65% of the population is going to hell, perhaps I'm not the one in denial. While people keep arguing this point I'm going to continue being a respectful, law-abiding, patriotic Atheist, with strong family values

Just as the religious say the atheists are in denial, the atheists will say that the religious are in denial.

Is this a play on words? We deny the existence of god. That is a form of denial. We do not deny ourselves open minds and learning. I guess it would depend upon the perspective of the one judging the atheists.

Atheists aren't in denial. They just don't require religion to get by in life, as Christians and other extremely religious people do.

Atheists are in denial of something theists cannot prove, and still they want to manipulate us all in the name of that. Isn't denial the wisest way to go?

I agree, to a point.

The Bible (for what it's worth to Atheists) tells us that we all have an inner knowledge of our Creator, and that He has shown His presence in His Creation.

Some Atheists, however, are not so much "in denial" as they are in willfull and active disregard. "In denial" simply points to disbelief. I think that most Atheists' lack of belief goes much further than "There isn't any proof," or "I just don't believe..."

Yes but I say those who claim themselves religious are the ones in denial.

If there's nothing to deny then no. No God = no God to deny. There is no God, therefore atheists cannot deny something not "there".

It's like saying... you're in denial about the snorfblat. If there is no snorfblat, you're not denying "it" as "It" doesn't exist to be denied.
