Christians who are pro choice want the easy road because it makes them feel better and ties in better with their lifestyle. this happens with alot of christian churches,or people who simply think religion is enough and that we don't even need to go to church,these attitudes are derived from man made traditions and society. Jesus came and instituted a church,if church wasn't important then alot of the work of Jesus and the apostles was not necessary. sadly many people miss the importance of church and its teachings.

Because politics is about presentation. Give yourself a "nice" label instead of a truthful one and people go for it. The point about those two groups is that "promoting the family" is their main aim so of course they aren't going to make a big thing about being anti-gay. But what isn't said in their names is that they are conservative evangelical bodies failing to declare themselves as Christian. So of course they are anti-gay as well - and have the misguided notion that homosexuality is curable.

I wouldn't label myself as 'pro-choice' or 'pro-life' as I think they are unhelpful polarities. I would say I am compassionate - both towards unborn persons, and towards the women who bear them. As such, I think there are many situations when it is acceptable to offer a woman an abortion.
This verse doesn't bother me in the slightest. Abortion laws are sufficient to prevent abortions after movement is felt in the womb (as is evident in this verse).
Furthermore, this verse was written by Luke, an historian who was writing decades after the birth of Christ. One should be critical about where he got such specific information from - it could have been a popular oral myth.

It doesn't bother me at all. Jesus said John the Baptist was the reincarnation of Elijah the prophet.
Does that mean we should accept reincarnation???
Pro-choice doesn't mean 'pro-abortion' despite what Jerry Falwell tells you.

I'm afraid your question says much more about you than anything else. And what we're picking up isn't all that great.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR QUESTION.
IT SHOWS THAT WHILE THE BABY WAS IN THE WOMB IT KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON IN THE WORLD.
NO BABY=NO PREGNANT
PREGNANT=BABY
YOU ABORT,YOU KILL

There is also a Bible quote stating that God doesn't consider us "human" until we are born naturally and breathe air on our own. That could be interpreted to mean that abortion is not murder because God doesn't consider us human until we are born.
The Bible could be used in a number ways, to support many things.
