My 12 year old nephew wants to say a few words, but isn't very good with words. Does anybody know about any sites theat have speeches or poems for from a kid to his dad and stepmom?

tell him to speak from his heart, but write it down. Good luck.

No one could memorize or learn something with a mere three hours until the wedding (of which I am dubious of, as I doubt that you would be sitting around on Yahoo at this point in time). Don't put the kid under the stress. Seesh!

Why not just have him speak from the heart? I'm sure his dad and new step-mom will appreciate the fact that he wants to honor them in the first place. Anything he says will mean a lot to them. Best of luck!

Tell your nephew he can speak after the wedding. During the recital where everyone can enjoy his speech.

I recommend what everyone else is saying- have him write it himself. If his parents really love him, they would rather have a crappy poem written by him than an amazing poem written by someone else (though don't make it crappy on purpose).

By now your at the reception and I hope everything went well. Hopefully he was able to pull off his speech, without a hitch, well, with one.

Sorry, I would have helped, but I came across your question too late. You've got to ask sooner. Maybe next time.
