I'd forgotten about the whole carpentry thing.

Who can honestly say they would trust a carpenter ? Just like any builder/plumber/electrician - many of them are up to no good.

The world may never know. Have you seen the movie Dogma? They talk about it a li'l, not facts or evidence tho, just an open minded comedy about religion. But He was probably doing something incredibly important, preparing a kingdom for us and all. Or preparing His body for His torture and crucifixion? All speculation.

The Bible doesn't tell us. In particular, it makes no mention of work as a carpenter, so don't jump to conclusions. If we needed to know, we'd have been informed.

i presume he was a carpenters son so he would have been working with his father joseph probably as an apprentice, not leaving much time for anything else

TEENAGERS IN THOSE DAYS WHERE A LOT DIFFERENT.
CHILDREN WHO DIDN'T DO AS THERE PARENTS SAID,COULD BE STONED TO DEATH.CHILDREN OBEYED THEIR PARENTS.

There's no hard evidence. If there was, there wouldn't be so much controversy about Jesus.
I think he was selling doobs and shrooms to his followers.
