also...the reason I dislike dogs is because a lot of their behavior is unpredictable, some of them kill cats, they smell, they slobber all over, and they bite people.

A relationship that is developed by a lie is not a relationship at all. If you explain to her that you are not a dog person, she hopefully will understand. If you're around the dog, don't feel the need to pet and coddle it, then you're pretending to be someone you're not. However, do not be cruel to the dog, that is completely inappropriate. Just ignore it the best you can, and if she asks you about the dog and whether you like it (etc), be honest. "I'm not much of a dog person....(etc)" should be enough for her to understand what you're trying to say.

Why pretend and start a relationship based on a lie. Tell her you don't like dogs or learn to like dogs. Why don't you like dogs? Are you afraid? Maybe she and her dog can help you overcome your fears. Give it a try? You may be glad you did.

You can't pretend. Even if you can hide it, and she can't tell that you are hiding it, the dog will know!! And you will not be happy when the dog growls, barks or tries to jump at you, or more..
Just be yourself, and if you hate dogs, then you can tell her, and if she is a 'love me love my dog', then you may have to move on, get over your crush and stick to dog-haters!

just humbly tell hell that you dislike dogs!!
believe me girls dont care if u dont like the animal she like.
Infact I like guys better if the dont have 100% taste like mine! ;)
Its much ,more induvidualistic. and believe me its a very small issue. Dont pretend to like the dog!! Itll mess things up for u!

Don't pretend...It works for a while, but eventually you'll get caught, and it will end up worse then telling her you don't like dogs.

I wouldn't pretend that you like dogs just for her. Tell her your afraid or them I'm sure she wont get mad. If she does i don't know if she is the best girl to like.... Good luck hun
