when u work at a beauty salon, do visible tattoos matter?

Depends on where you want to work, or the clientele you want to keep, in most cases if you want the money to roll in you have to have a classy look, the ones that will be into the look of tattoos will be your one shot girls, they will not be a regular customer in most cases. Most females that spend money in a salon is between 35-42 so think of what style they would want. Think of your money and think of where you want to work. And you have to think of what type of person will be interviewing you for the position also, they are for most part professional so want a professional employee. Appearance is everything in that business! Good Luck

Yes and no it all depends on where you work some salons ask for you to cover them up but where i work my boss has no problem with mine... Mind you she has some herself and is not affraid of showing them off .... so it all depends what kind of salon you work at...

depends on what kind of tattoos and what kind of salon. if they are taste full I don't think they matter. good luck.

I'm a cosmetology student in high school and my teacher told me to keep a clean and professional image in order to be successfull.
