There is a project going on.
It is a project of thousands of years.
Jesus came the first time to offer his life on our behalf and to explain the truth of matters. 1 Timothy 2:6 and John 18:37.
He left to return to where he came from and do what Hebrews 9:24 mentions.
His coming back has as its purpose to take over rule of the earth.
Daniel 2:44 and Revelation 12:10.
He doesn't take over immediately, in an overt way, as Psalms 110:2 indicates.
He is presently directing a warning work .....Matthew 24:14.
Eventually, as with all warnings, things will come to a head.
That's called Armageddon.

He is coming back to rule and reign. After He was crucified on the cross, He rose, and after a time spent among His disciples here on earth, He ascended into heaven. The first time He came as the sacrificial lamb. The second time, He will come as the Lion of Judah.

He is coming back to get all of those who believe to save them. He will also give you the chance to accept Him. Jesus died on the cross by all those who did not believe in Him. He was God's gift to us to forgive us of our sins. We need to accept Him as our personal savior and when we die on earth our souls will be living with Him forever. He is coming back at the end of time to get those who are left who accepts him.

He is coming back to establish his kingdom here on earth. He left to give us time to decide where we want to spend eternity.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

I know He is coming back. He is coming back to collect His sheep, and bring us to heaven. He left as this is the way God wants things, to choose Him above all things. Not to be forced into loving God, but to truly choose them. He left as this was what was prophecied. He will come back when it is time......:o]
