i just find i flirt with everyone. this gives me all kind of problems, somethimes its because i dont realise im flirting, sometimes its beacause thats just what i do. i once went out with someone i really didnt fancy because i felt so bad that i had made him think that i did....
and thats just happening again. what would you do if you were me?

I'm in the same situation. what i do is if i don't want to seem like I'm flirting i don't look in his eyes. i also talk fast and normally. i watch what i say and talk. i make sure my smile is ok not sexy and talk in a few words. and when i want to flirt i do the opposite!

If you can't flirt less, the flirt as often but with people you don't mind goind out with.
If you flirt with everyone, then eventually when you find Mr. Right, me might not think he is so special if he feels you are giving every guy the green light.

Well, I for one would try and be more concious about NOT flirting with other people. My recent ex, just got into a relationship with another guy in less than a month...and I'm going through heck right now, so, I'm sorry if I'm not that much help, but she's also a flirt and...yeah...good luck. ^_^;;;

I flirt with everyone too! It's really silly but I just can't help it. I don't think there is a cure for it. It's just the way you are and people hopefully love you for it because it's fun and pretty harmless.

Do you subconsciously have low self-esteem to the point where you are seeking the attention/approval from others. Be careful, b/c when flirting you can give guys the wrong impression especially if they really like you, and you really like them.

Try to find a balance with your flirting. You can always just tell those you are flirting with that you are just a BIG flirt and they shouldn't take you seriously.

You should try to tone it down a bit, flirting needs a bit of subtlety, girls who are flamboyant flirts just seem desperate and unattractive, to me anyway.
