You can't get rid of it but, you can prevent flare-ups. There are medications that you can take that help it a great deal. The best thing to do though is stay out of the sun. Other things that can trigger flare-ups are emotional stress, hot or cold weather, wind, alcohol, spicy foods, heavy exercise, hot baths, heated beverages and certain skin-care products.

Go to a dermatologist (skin doctor). There are creams and prescription drugs you can take for this disorder. If your case is bad enough, I think there is also a lasar surgery to help get rid of it.

Good Luck
