well they r quite a few ways to get over him.
1.)find another guy,
2.)find a reason to start disliking him.
3.)convince ur self that he was not the best thing for u and better guys are on ur way.
4.)get busy into some kind of work which will make u forget him..

Just think of how much better off you are without him. If he broke up with you then the relationship was not going any where and now you have a chance at finding some one better for you.
Think to the future and not the past.

in my point of view how to get over a girlfriend who broke up with me i just would move on with my life breath one breath after the other and put one foot in front of the other and if i felled down i would pick myself up and move on. and find another girlfriend.

all i can say is dont cry over him because then he really isnt worth it?? go out more with ur friends and meet new people.. just hav fun and dont look back and be sad about wat has happened..rather look ahead and think about the great times you are about to hav in the years to come
