If your recipe calls for self-rising flour and you only have all-purpose, here's how you can adapt.

Using a dry measure, measure the desired amount of flour into a separate container.
For each cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Mix to combine.

How do you make your own self-rising flour?
Mix a teaspoon or a teaspoon and a half of baking powder with each scant a cup of flour, and add as much as a teaspoon of salt.

We are at a loss — we have no witty comment to make about the question or the answer.

If you want to figure that our, you have to go to the store and look on the back to be sure, but i think that you need: baking soda/powder to put into it, and some other stuff that i cant think of right now.
