Well I'm a Granny and I would have thought it funny! I probably would have pulled hard on your finger and let one rip at the same time then pretend you grossed me out!!

My guess is she had not a lick of a sense of humor. I applaud you ! You did what millions of people wish they had the nerve to do. You said exactly what was on your mind at that particular moment. How many of us have, atleast once, sat next to a complete stranger and just let our personality take over. But there are those out there who are close minded enough or fearful of the unknown to snub off such a giggle. Which is exactly what it was.....a giggle to break the ice. For those I feel sorry ....for they miss lifes little moments of laughter. Just hearing the story brought a smile to my face....so hats off to the humorous and thankyou for my smile.

Sadly we live in a world where there is only distrust. We may not be sure if we ared dealing with a psycjo or not. i mean just look ath the BTK killer or Mark Foley R-FL. Both leaders in their communities, both pretty twisted. But i'm also inclined to think that if you looked like Brad Pitt or Sean Connery, she would have pulled more than your finger.

No, the rude one was you, sorry to tell you. Next time, try "hello" instead.
