i dont think it is necessary to go out every weekend. im a little biased on this subject. i dont really think single parents should be bringing their dates home when their kids are around. it is fine when your daughter is at her dad's but unless you are planning on marrying this guy in the near future then i really dont think he should have anything to do with her. on the weekends you have her you should plan plenty of fun things for just the two of you. sorry buts thats my opinion.

Very true you have to think about the future and going out every weekend is not easy ,you can have just as much fun planning things around the house with you and your daughter.

If going out every weekend is not working out for you talk to him about it and don't hide your true feelings. Secondly since you have a boyfriend and some one new in your life. Have you two talk about how this may or may not affect the relationship ?
Since a lot of people can't deal with children from a previous relationship in the picture ?

If I had a woman in your situation I think alternating staying in and going out every other weekend should balance out perfectly. Neither one of you should have to spend any weekends alone, unless you want to. Plus, he should always support you on the fact your daughter takes priority no matter what.

I dont think you have to go out every weekend. I think he should want to get to know your daughter better, instead of trying to get rid of her.

As a mom, your child comes first. You have to decide what is best for your daughter.

Why don't all three of you go somewhere together? If you are looking at this guy as marriage material, you better check out his 'daddy' qualities.

if he loves you, he will understand how it is taking care of a child and be with you when ever you are able.
