The War on Drugs is a Satanically designed attempt to control society. By playing on peoples morals, making them think they
are doing something about the drug problem.
Most people, even governments are clueless in regard to this.
They are right now forcing people with addictions out of their
homes. This will create rioting if it continues. And then they can
call in the Armed Services and crush the people. And it will all
be according to the Law.
We need to wise up. They are getting something on everybody, so they can get us by the balls. And we will have to do what we're told, or be punished.
We could learn something from the Russian people. Time and
time again, the corrupt leaders were able to turn the army
and citizens against each other. Playing on the frustrations
of the citizens, so they throw rocks at guys with machine
guns. DUH! But the last time, the Russian army and the
Rusian people stood together!
WE are all citizens of the United States. Leaders, soldiers, police, citizens. All U.S. citizens! Dont' let them turn us
against each other. Or we will all come out the loser.

First of all I am not what you said here, neither am I afraid to talk about drugs or alcohol.
Growing weed and selling them to children is bad.
Buying alcohol, which is legal, is bad also.
But do you think that because alcohol is legal and a driver gets behind the wheel and kills a small child, you think that he should not go to prison?
Everything in this world is for you to use the way you see fit. But everything should be done in moderation.
Many people have died because of drugs and alcohol. The bad thing about this is, that the person that is drugged or drunk, usually never dies, because his body is relaxed. And you know what happens then the people that were not using drugs or drinking are the ones that get seriously hurt or die.
Put that in your cigarette and smoke it.

Personally, I am a FOX News man.........CNN, blah!
You need to separate the government from God. Our government in America has been degraded to the point of 535 men and women doing a give and take of programs so the public will return them to office year after year.
Take the Hemp plant for example; it is plentiful and could be used in many, many applications within our country aside from getting high using it as a drug. Yes, it is hypocritical to allow tobacco and alcohol to be legal and not other drugs that alter your mind to some extent.
Back to my original tirade about Congress and other leaders; we need to vote in Patriots, not Republicans or Democrats! It is good to be aware of and concerned about gay Congress People who send emails to Pages, but we need to work "together" to make our country strong and safe....insuring all obey the laws that govern us.
So, instead of worrying about smoking a Mary Jane, you should insist on better leadership....maybe then some of the bad laws could be changed!

Society established laws to govern us not religion.
If everything comes from GOD and everyone comes from GOD we all should not have sexism, racism, anti gay's, war, etc.
The hard cold fact about those "freaking plant[s]" as you call them is that they cause many more problems then people simply getting high. For instance, how about those drug dealers killing people, or kids/ adults stealing, robbing, beating for killing for money so they can score the drugs. Then when we have drugs we have drug lords, and weapons contraban (believe or not goes hand in hand).
Plus the money that is made from selling those drugs goes to warlords like BIN LADIN or his people to help keep terrorism alive.
We have many more problems with those "Freaking plant[s]" then just being legal or not. We should worry about what happens to people who take them, sell them or get rich from them. Things to think about.
BTW: CNN doesn't make the news - It just reports it.

Yes, the Creatour (Jehovah) created the "vegetation bearing seed, fruit trees yielding fruit according to their kinds, the seed of which is in it, upon the earth” (Gen. 1:11).
Yet, some may ask, 'Why did God make plants from which drugs are derived if it is wrong to use them?'
Things that are abused usually also have proper uses. That is true of man’s reproductive abilities. It is true of wine. Marijuana is made from the dried leaves and flowering tops of the hemp plant, which provides useful fibers for making rope and cloth. Tobacco leaves, abused by smokers, can also be used in making disinfectants and insecticides. Regarding many of earth’s resources, much is yet to be learned as to how they can be beneficially employed. Even weeds are beneficial in preventing erosion and providing mulch when soil is not under cultivation.
Humans are endowed with free will, and have a natural desire for a measure of independence. Carried too far, however, this desire gives rise to disobedience, even rebellion. Hence the problems they face today in the world. Rom. 6:16, 23; Gal. 6:7-9)
Does the Bible actually forbid the use of drugs for pleasure?
It does not name such substances as heroin, cocaine, LSD, PCP (angel dust), marijuana, and tobacco. But it does provide needed guidelines so that we can know what to do and what to avoid in order to please God. Similarly, the Bible does not say that it is wrong to use a gun to kill someone, but it does forbid murder.
2Â Cor. 7:1: “Since we have these promises [of having Jehovah as our God and our Father], beloved ones, let us cleanse ourselves of every defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in God’s fear.” (But can we expect to have God’s approval if we deliberately do things that defile our bodies?)
Gal. 5:19-21: “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are . . . practice of spiritism, . . . revelries, and things like these. . . . Those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.” (The literal meaning of the Greek word phar·ma·ki´a, here rendered “practice of spiritism,” is “druggery.” An Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, by W. E. Vine, in commenting on this Greek word, says: “In sorcery, the use of drugs, whether simple or potent, was generally accompanied by incantations and appeals to occult powers, with the provision of various charms, amulets, etc., professedly designed to keep the applicant or patient from the attention and power of demons, but actually to impress the applicant with the mysterious resources and powers of the sorcerer.” [London, 1940, Vol. IV, pp. 51, 52] Similarly today, many who use drugs are involved in spiritistic practices or associate with those who are, because a blank mind or one that experiences hallucinations is easy prey to the demons. Compare Luke 11:24-26.)
Titus 3:1: “Be in subjection and be obedient to governments and authorities as rulers.” (In many locations, possession or use of certain drugs is a violation of the law.)

Marijuana is a highly addictive, mind-altering drug than can and has caused death.
The US government has declared it illegal, and anyone who sells it, possesses it,or grows it is violating a Federal law and thus is a criminal.
I am against alcohol as well, but so far the government has not declared it illegal for those above the legal age limit.

Governments and God are two different things, but God said to obey the laws of man, unless it conflicts with teaching his word. Pot is not needed to teach his word, and God didn't create rituals involving drugs.

There are a lot of weird laws out there. Cigarettes and alchol are socially acceptable, and look at the damage they do. I've never used drugs, but I know a lot of people that smoke pot, and they are nothing but happy, mellow people. No deviations of any kind. I'll take a pot smoker over a drunk any day.

Because when plans for the earth and society were layed out by God, he didn't know of some flaws that could errupt. These flaws being that certain plant chemicals erupt with human chemicals which cause devistating effects (or fun effects, depending on who you ask.)
