They do make it, at least here in the US. It's available in larger grocery stores. The convenience stores don't usually sell it because their shelf and cooler space is so limited. It's available in regular and diet, and (unfortunately) doesn't really have much taste, in either variety. For a good caffeine-free cola, I prefer Diet Rite. It's sugar-free, though; if you don't mind that, it really does have a much better flavor than the caffeine-free varieties of either Pepsi or Coke. Says me, anyway. It's often available (here in the US) through the company that bottles 7-Up products.

Of course, just drinking some other pop may be your best bet. Most root beer is caffeine-free (Barq's isn't, except in diet.) There are some good fruit sodas, too, that aren't labeled as caffeine-free but still are.

There is not sufficient demand for a caffeine free full sugar coke in the UK. However they sell a "red" coke caffeine free in France and other European countries. You could do a coke run on the ferry the same way some people do booze runs!

They have. But you may not have seen it because (cryptically) they named it "Caffeine-free Coke" just to throw you off the trail.

You have been taken in by very poor reporting. "Alcohol-free Beer" is another product where they take the regular product and remove the "offending" constituent for marketing purposes. There is so little alcohol in "alcohol-free beer" that if it affects you, you have some other problem. The same is true of "caffeine-free Coke" and "decaffeinated coffee"; if these products bother you, it isn't the caffeine! (Unless you are a very, very unhealthy person...)

They have, its been out for a few years now. Here in Canada its in a goldish coloured can. I've never had it so I can't say if its any good or not. However I have tried the new Coke Blak beverage, which is coke and coffee, and I quite enjoyed it.I expected a huge caffein rush, but found it no worse than regular caffinated coke with a slight hint of coffee in it.

Personally I would not drink any caffeine or sugar free drinks, the chemicals they put in them to replace the taste are probably worse for you than the sugar and caffeine!
