WOW! What can a 19 month old do that is so harsh that he would have to beat the baby to that extent. I know they get into alot of things at that age, but that still doesn't give any body the right to beat a child to the point where they can't stand or walk. But to answer the question yes take the child to the hospital and tell them the truth after all that is your baby. Men come and go but your child will be there forever. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

You are this 19 mos old childs only protection! You must tell the truth! Besides that you will be blamed for this also if you dont. You were there when it happened! This man needs to be turned in and away from this child!(any child)You should not want to ever let him have this child alone. If you split up this needs to be out so he wont get this innocent child in his hands.Tell the truth now! This needs to be on record!Dont cover up for him. He will expect again and again and he wont stop! Next time if will be worse. You would live to regret not stopping it immediately. Please dont hide this and get that baby to the hospital! Please let us know how you and the child are when you can!

This type of thing both disgusts and goes beyond anger with me!!!!!!!!!!!!Mom, how can you even possibly think that you can lie about this?? Your baby is looking to you for help and YOU are the only one who can save this child...what are you thinking??? Any woman who is protecting an ANIMAL like this, is just as guilty as the one who did the abuse...Tell the truth...and do what is best for your child...this won't be the last time this thing will happen...The next time, you may not be on the way to a hospital, but to a funeral...

I don't know how long ago your child got hurt. But, if it has been more than a day or two you could be in trouble. No matter what happens, the child needs to go to the hospital. At the hospital they will have you talk to a social worker and if you have no one you can stay with they will help you get into a shelter. Make sure you tell them that you were afraid and did not know what to do. That should help you to stay out of trouble with the law. You should run as fast as you can away from him. He needs to go to JAIL.
Good luck.

Listen here you ! You better get that baby to a hospital right now because I am going to trace your IP address and report you to authorities asap. How dare you think of only yourself and not that innocent, helpless child. What is your husband's name and location? I will come and beat the holy living crap out of him!
Get that baby to a hospital! NOW! You will be charged with failure to protect and being an accomplice by covering for that piece of junk you call a husband. People like you should never have kids. What about the abuse you haven't talked about. If you are a victim of his abuse, and you probably are, then shame on you for putting up with it. If you can afford access to the internet to tell us this horrid story of child abuse, then I am sure you can find a way to the hospital! I have no sympathy for those who are willing to cover up injuries to their small children because of the man they are covering up for. Are you that stupid? You are going to lose your child. That is a given but he could go into shock or worse, die if you don't get him to a hospital. Oooh, I am reporting you as we speak and I don't care what anybody thinks. By the way folks, she never mentioned being afraid of this jerk, only that she was thinking about covering up this crime. So there! If she has enought time to type this in on the internet she has enough time to get away with the child and take him to a hospital. No excuses.

I am so sorry to hear this! It sounds like your husband is deeply troubled. Until this troubling behavior is addressed - you should seek shelter and/or help with the authorities. Talking with family can be done after you have support from your area's social services that deal with this matter. You should tell the truth to the doctors who will treat your baby at the hospital. Good luck to you in this difficult situation.

Get out NOW, the next fit your husband takes could kill your child! DO NOT leave this child or any child alone with him, take your child to the ER and tell the truth. If you lie you could get into trouble, especially if he hurts the child again. Your job as his/her mother is to protect your baby at ANY cost. Everything will work out for the best. Hold your baby, kiss your baby, and tell your baby Mommy is here and will do what is RIGHT! Good Luck!

You should never condone violence its unacceptable if your child was injured during this beating you should take him to the hospital call the police and have a restraining order placed on this guy file for divorce. There are too many good men out there that would treat you and your child well.

You should tell everything to the hospital, they will probable send a social worker to the hospital right then to talk with you. Nobody should get away with harming a child. They are too precious to allow anybody to harm them, let alone get away with it. Take care of business and let that husband of yours pay for what he did. There are places to go if you are afraid of him, but you need to speak up and tell the truth.
