Only reason not to is if you pull or haul LOTS of weight.

Otherwise, good luck. and I do mean that. Finding them is tough and finding them with owner that wants less than 16k is tougher.

As with any vehicle purchase, you should attempt to get all the information you can regarding the maintenance and operation of that vehicle. In some cases, the seller will allow you to have it checked by your mechanic at your expense. I agree with everyone that suggests the Tacoma is a fine truck. Honda and Toyota are probably the finest vehicles on the market new and used so your chances of finding a good one are excellent. Good luck!

I just sold my Tacoma and let me tell you, it was hard to let go of. That truck was so darn reliable, fun to drive, and just plain useful. I've known people who put 300,000 miles on their Toyota before needing to replace the transmission.

So I say go for it, there is a good reason Toyota retain so much of their value... the run forever!!

I can think of nothing that would stop me from buying a toyota pickup.They are the most dependable trucks in the entire world.Honestly they really are
