you cannot.
a psychologist PHD.that does mmpi and other tests is best
if not an MD psychiatrist maybe can accurately diagnose after some time.
beware of MSW no tests and other "counselors" and non trained
many symptoms are hard to distinguish ptsd and schizophrenia .add adhd, and others have some shared or similar symptoms.
professional assess only please!

You may suspect, but really only a mental health professional can diagnose and treat someone who is bi-polar. Good luck.

How do you know they are bi-polar? A Head shrink only can tell you that.

a psychologist can deterimine that. Depending on how old your child is though, your child could be just growing up, young children and teens are growing up and it is natural for them to have mood swings and changes.
