*rolls eyes* Apparently these people aren't the ones to ask about a scientific concept. They just babble about god.

Let's deal in facts, not your personal opinion huh?

The Big Bang is the scientific theory of how the universe emerged from a tremendously dense and hot state about 13.7 billion years ago. The theory is based on the observations indicating the expansion of space (in accord with the Robertson-Walker model of general relativity) as indicated by the Hubble redshift of distant galaxies taken together with the cosmological principle.

The hubble redshift states that all matter in the galaxy is moving away from each other at ever increasing speeds. By such, the theory then states that all matter must then have come from the same source. A supercondensed matter. Scientists don't agree on exactly what that was though one of the most popular ideas is that of a gravitational singularity. Or, more specifical, a black hole.

Unfortunately, our scientific technology hasn't advanced enough yet to verify or disprove the theory. The religious like to pretend that means we'll never know the truth and that god is the all beginning and all ending of everything. Quite amazing how so many religious think that everything that can be known IS known at this moment in time. Apparently many people are of the opinion that there's nothing more to be discovered and that we'll never be able to get to that point.

I happen to disagree. Though I do think we're still a fair ways from discovering the origin of our universe. It isn't a discovery that will happen in this lifetime, or the next. Likely many thousands of years down the road. If we don't destroy ourselves by that time.

In God's Holy Bible in Psalms 33 it reads thus:
33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
33:9 For he spake, and it was [done]; he commanded, and it stood fast.
and In Genesis 1 In The Begining God created Heaven and the earth, when God spake I can tell you there was indeed A "BIG BANG" but it was in Six days as it said in Genesis 1, evening and morning was the first day, evening and morning was the second day, sundown to sundown is 24 hours, so there was indeed a big bang, but that is no theroy it was A Fact, hay Free bible lessons you can explore more of the big bang, its in the Holy Bible, www.itiswritten.com also visit A Seventh Day Adventist Church in your area. God bless you.

That is a theory - aka guess - by scientists on how the universe started. But they have no proof of it. Just like they have no proof of evolution. It's voodoo science.
