good old Martha Stuart HERE'S ONE drink
Pink Grapefruit "Margaritas"
Serves 6
This nonalcoholic pink drink is a great treat for children during festive occasions. Sanding sugar is a large-grain decorative sugar; granulated sugar may be substituted.
2 tablespoons colored sanding sugar
1 lime
6 teaspoons pomegranatesyrup or grenadine
1 1/2 cups pink grapefruit juice
1. Place sanding sugar in a shallow dish or plate. Slice six thin rounds from the middle of lime; set aside. Rub lime wedge around rims of six glasses; dip each rim in sugar to coat. Pour 1 teaspoon pomegranate syrup into bottom of each glass.
2. Place grapefruit juice and 2 cups ice cubes in a blender. Process on high speed until ice is crushed. Pour frozen mixture into glasses, and stir to combine with syrup. Garnish with reserved lime rounds, and serve immediately.

Jose Cuervo makes a GREAT non-acoholic margarita mix. Get the green kind, with the senorita on the bottle. You can blend it up with ice (and maybe a teeny bit of water; it's quite sweet by itself) and put in a salted glass like a "real" margarita. It's really tasty, kind of like frozen lemonade. The grown-ups can put tequila in theirs, LOL.
Oh yeah, and a fun trick for parties is to make ice cubes out of the drinks you serve. For example, if you were serving punch, then put the punch into your ice cube trays and freeze it. That way, the drinks won't get watered down. You can mix and match flavors too... like strawberry ice cubes in lemonade drinks. You can even put cherries in the ice cubes. Ikea has some fun-shaped ice cube trays, too. Enjoy your party!

Do non-alcoholic cocktails.
They are exactly the same minus the spirits.
You can make them look good with pieces of pineapple, cherries any fruit really in the glass. Use loads of ice! Use umbrellas too!
Have a great party!

Apple cider is perfect and cheap for the fall but seems like a really expensive drink. Get a crock pot and put apple juice, cloves, cinnamon, and a dash of nutmeg in it.

Punches, the more tangy ginger ales, fruit juices cut with soda water to make them less sweet & more dry; sort of like mixing non alcoholic gin & tonics.
