My guys italian moma wont like me because i am spanish/french and not italian!I dont cosider this a reason and she also wants to give me a hellish test over my cooking and cleaning!This is America for gods sake whats wrong with this woman?She had to be forced to even meet me i feel really upset what can i do she makes it a point to say something rude about everything nothing is ever right!And yet my future hubby adores her and she waits on him hand and foot whenever possible. She even bought a house three blocks away from hers for us to live in and she says so she can be close to her grandchildren to help raise them!

try to go on line and get italian recipes. also you could take dance classes with her then you will be spending loads of time together

I'm guessing she's used to her traditional ways, my grandmother is also like that with my father. That women should know how to cook, clean, and all of the housewifely duties? basically like herself. They're really close and she's overprotective of him.
Tell your fut. husband how she's treating you and maybe he can help as well.

when you marry a man you also marry his family and she sounds very controlling. i would really reconsider whether you actually want to marry this guy.

I hope your' boy friend is not a momma's boy. because if you two get married , He'll have to sant by you, not by her mommas'!!
