I have several tapes recorded from a "Video 8 Handycam". PAL SYSTEM. I would like to convert them and be able to watch them in a NTSC Tv. It is possible? Any idea how? Any software out there that can do this? Thanks.

Depends on your equipment and software. You need to have a PAL player, Windows XP or MAc 0S10+, plenty of hard drive memory, firewire connection (1394a), hardware which will allow you to convert the 8mm analog video source into a digital source, and Pinnacle Studio, Avid Express or better, or similar software.
Or you could use a video convertor company and pay $20. Look in you local phone book, internet, or ebay.
