im a natural black hair and i want to dye it dirty blond or anything that suits it. Any color that is light.

I picked out a blond hair color and my hair turned out reddish, brown.

i wouldn't attempt to do on own it gets complicated when changing from that dark to blond any shade. you have to lift the level of your hair to go light.you cant go to the store and think a box will color your hair it wont when that dark. a pre boxed dye will color hair but will not lighten and that is what your trying to achieve. you have to lift before you can add. it is very damaging to you hair. you have to use a blue/violet color base and pre mixed doesn't have. so you hair i would guess wouldn't take and if did would be blotchy in spots. i would try to lighten first with highlights smaller section its not as damaging and over time you will have your hair lighter so it can be colored lighter colors it will be lifted.go to a professional

Honey first off you cant go a dark color to a light color by just dumping color on your head. Sorry but your going to have to bleach it out.

your hair, do what you want. besides, what's so great about blond hair? i'm a natural blond and think dark hair is way hotter on women.

if ur new at this maybe you should dye it blonde strikes and once you get use to it then u can dye it all blonde
